Some people think of Mulberry Street as a pizzeria, some think of it as a restaurant complete with tablecloths and a sophisticated decor. It’s both. Andy and Chris Paloubis created a dining spot that is casual, a place where you can get a “slice,” take out a pie, or dine on dishes that are made from the finest and freshest ingredients served by a knowledgeable and friendly staff.

We sampled their margherita pizza topped with mozzarella, diced tomato and basil...expertly prepared and delicious. They feature creative salads which are popular for lunch. Arugula and cantaloupe was full of crisp greens, sweet melon, caramelized pecans and blackened chicken. Before our entrees arrived, we tasted pasta fagioli, hearty and robust. Tender chicken gorgonzola was full of flavor accompanied by pesto country mashed potatoes. The quality and variety Mulberry Street offers is more like a fine restaurant than a pizzeria. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade velvety smooth cheesecake and rich cream filled cannoli. In addition to their special recipe dishes, they offer traditional ones like chicken parmigiana, fried calamari and baked ziti. They are known for their “big bowl” of mussels marinara or fra diavolo. Wines are available by the glass and bottle and there’s a menu of creative martinis.

They’re “hands on” operators who make sure everything runs smoothly in their comfortable restaurant where you will leave very full and totally satisfied...only to return again just like the loyal clientele who have done so for years.

Mulberry Street of Seaford is now serving pizzas, pastas and parms in the freestanding building that last hosted Butera’s of Seaford. Owner Christos Paloubis said he has a family affiliation with the longstanding Mulberry Street of Babylon Village, which has a similar menu.
